Presentation
Symbaloo is a web application that can be used for organising and categorising, at the user’s will, multiple links to frequently used websites. It allows to create different pages, called Webmixes, in which various “buttons” called “tiles” are inserted, which open up the chosen pages (by clicking on the Amazon button the related page will be opened, for example). The user has the possibility of customising their own homepage both at a content level, adding whichever link they wish, and at a color and visual level, for example dividing the links by topic, changing the color of the buttons or relocating them at their will. Il is possible to create different pages and order them by importance. The dashboard has approximately 60 buttons at the links’ disposal and a small central box, which the user can make researches in, through search engines such as Google. The look of the homepage is the following:

After clicking on “Register for free” at the top right this page will be opened, where we will have to specify whether we use Symbaloo privately, as a teacher or as a school:

Immediately afterwards, we will be able to choose whether to use our Facebook account, our Google account or register via email and password:

After the registration, by clicking on “Options” we can customise the webmix:

It is possible to set the background, choosing from the proposed images or by uploading one:

This is the final result, the icons can be easily dragged to create and organise our page:

The use is quite intuitive and the user has the possibility to customise look and contents.
