The following is the home screen of WordClouds and as you can see you can immediately proceed to make your own wordcloud. With the "file" button you can save the project as an image or video, share it, print it, create a new one, save it, or open an existing one.
To enter the words you prefer, you need to click on "word list" and click on "edit." The following screen will open in which you can enter the various words and choose a color for each. Alternatively, the words can be extracted from a text, a PDF document, an Office document or from a web page by entering the relevant URL.
You can change the shape of the wordcloud by clicking on "shape". As you can see from the following screen shot, you can choose from many icons, colored icons, maps, text, and even upload an image from your PC (in the last case, the image must have a transparent or white background).
Click on "fonts" to select word fonts. You can choose from several fonts and add multiple fonts.
You can also choose the direction of the words by clicking on "direction".
You can choose the color of both the words and the background and also choose from various themes, select the color gradient or upload an image.
Finally, various options such as minimum word size, word margins and text drawing options can be set. There are two options in the bar: "auto fit" allows you to automatically reduce words that do not fit, while "repeat words" allows you to repeat some words to fill the shape. The slider is used to zoom in/out the words in the cloud. The following screenshot presents an example of a wordcloud created with the app.
