Presentation
The following is the LearningApps home screen. Here you can search for apps already within the site, create your own apps through the use of default templates, and create your own collections. Sign up is not required but is useful for saving the apps you create.
In this screen you can view apps created by other users. You can browse by category in order to focus your search in a specific area. For each category then you can view subcategories and then search for apps based on a specific topic. Apps can be filtered by school grade so that you can find those most relevant to your students.
By clicking on an app you can view it in more detail and try it out. Existing apps can be used as a template to create your own and can be customized, to do so just click on "create similar apps." Apps can also be saved by clicking on "bookmark in my apps." Each app then can be shared through links or embedded in websites.
If you want to create a new app without using existing ones as templates, you can click on "create app" on the LearningApps home page and choose from the various empty templates that are available. To use the template simply click on it and then click on "create new app".
This is the editing screen of an app and you need to fill in the boxes to create your own. At the end just click on "show preview" and you can save it to your account.
Created collections and all apps that have been saved or created will appear in your account. Apps can also be grouped into folders.
Click on "create a collection" to organize the apps into collections to be assigned to your students. To do this, you need to give the collection a title, add the apps that will be part of it, and fill in other required fields (such as whether you want to keep track of the work done by your students). Once it is created, you will be able to share it through links. From the following screen you can see how many students have done their assigned tasks through the apps, just click on "work status".
